At long last!
My first novel, Year of the Earth Serpent Changing Colors, is to be published in January 2023 by Ibidem-Verlag, Edition Noema, and distributed in Europe, Australia, and in the USA by Columbia University Press.
The book, as a work of fiction, represents over 30 years of reflection upon the events that took place in China and in the world before, during and after the brutal June 4, 1989 crackdown on the non-violent pro-democracy and freedom protests taking place in China.
I believe the book will prove even more relevant given the anti-Covid confinement protests taking place in China in recent weeks!
